Why I Am Taking This Course
I am taking this class to learn about impact of computers in the design of media as well as what makes media enjoyable to consume. Things like what makes a good story, how to create good user interfaces, and more sounds like a solid skill to have in industry. More than anything, this class will teach me how to appreciate what makes media.

Challenges
One of the main challenges I face with content consumption is navigating
the overwhelming abundance of options on streaming platforms like Netflix or Spotify.
While these services offer an wide variety of choices, finding content that matches my interests and mood can be surprisingly difficult and time-consuming.
The recommendation algorithms, intended to personalize the experience, often fall short by promoting popular or trending content that doesn't align with my
personal preferences or by repetitively suggesting titles I've already viewed or dismissed.
The difficulty in finding content that genuinely interests me has led me to rely on external sources, such as social media or online reviews, to make viewing choices. This workaround, however, is less than ideal and detracts from the convenience and user experience these platforms aim to provide.
